Continuous search
The continuous application is open to both young people and adults, graduates and those with previous vocational training. Young people apply mainly through a joint selection, but also through a continuous search if the desired education is not included in the joint selection or if they miss a place in the joint selection. Adults always apply through a continuous search. ***Note! We only teach in Finnish!***
The implementation of the continuous search varies depending on the field of education. In general, you can apply throughout the year and start your studies either on a specific common starting date or flexibly according to your personal schedule agreed with your teacher. In other fields, the application is open at certain times of the year and studies are also started on mutually agreed starting dates.
Note: We teach only in Finnish. If the applicant’s mother tongue is other than Finnish, the applicant’s language proficiency will be verified. The applicant must have sufficient ability to complete the examination, teaching and guidance.
Student selection
In the case of continuous admission, your application will be processed in accordance with the selection criteria. You will also be checked for language skills and, depending on the field of study you are applying for, your health status will be checked to ensure that you meet the legal requirements.
